2009 Orientation Team
THE FALL 2009 ORIENTATION TEAM is thrilled to welcome the Class of 2013 to Ohio Wesleyan University! Our team is made up of current students, faculty, and staff who work together to ensure that your OWU experience is as fun, stimulating, and rewarding as we know it can be. The Orientation Team is here to guide you through your first days as a member of the Ohio Wesleyan community, and here is what you can expect from us.
- Correspondence over the summer from our Orientation Leaders
- Help with move-in and settle into your residence hall
- Quality programs that will ease the transition to college
- Small group meetings with professionally trained students
- The opportunity to meet new friends and have fun

- Upperclassmen mentors throughout your first semester & beyond
Meet the 2009 Orientation Team:
Director of Student Involvement: Debbie Lamp, M.A. is a native of northern New Jersey. Debbie has worked at Ohio Wesleyan for the past ten years and is deeply rooted in the community. She plans, and advises the entire Orientation process as well as the Orientation Team.
Orientation Team Leaders (OTL): Trevor Hawley '10 and Amy Gallagher '10. These two amazing OWU students are the captains of the Orientation Leader Team. They work behind the scenes all year long to select outstanding leaders in the OWU community and train them to be Orientation Leaders. Trevor and Amy work throughout the summer months to plan and implement programs, and serve as liaisons among all levels of the Orientation program.
Orientation Leaders (OLs): The OLs are the heart of the Orientation Team, and throughout the fall semester, you'll turn to them frequently. Unique in interests, talents, and abilities, they represent OWU's remarkable diversity. Often meeting with small groups of first-year students, OLs are critical to making Orientation successful. They work behind the scenes, run errands, direct crowds, answer questions, staff events, and more.
